Its configuration is a set of two elegant giraffes that nature intended us back to immersing ourselves in the warmth of Savannah.
GVAL is a product that brings surprising and playful use to an object as ordinary as everyday’s chair. In doing so, it  pays homage to the most archetypical of all production materials, wood, in its most natural form: a tree. The shape of the chair and the texture of alternating sheets of plywood is inspired by pattern of tree rings, which in a way represent tree’s memory: each ring usually marks the  of one year in the life of the tree. + First prize of the category Making Chairs of the interational competition Art On Chairs, awarded by the Paredes Center of Furniture Design. My favorite toy was the playmobil and I took some time thinking about the best use for them. I’ve finally decided to join us in giving light in the most environmentally friendly way, with candles. Gillo Dorfles, 2005 This projects makes us reflect on the age of communications in which we completely lose anonymity, and social networks make our lives a public domain. We find ourself being constantly under surveillance through our mobile phones. Retrophone is an ironic take on this context that revives old forms of communication from the times that permitted us more independence and an element of surprise when not communicating face to face.
King of Pop is a tribute item for the late Michael Jackson by ‘Ooo my design.’ Designed as traditional matryoshka dolls (which have smaller versions hidden inside progressively getting smaller as you go through the layers), King of Pop chronicles different iconic looks that Michael Jackson had throughout his career. Ooo my design’s King of Pop starts off with a layer depicting a pale-skinned Michael that resembles the look he carried at the end of his career. The next layers include an homage to his famous thriller music video, and the look that he started with when he first hit the music scene with the Jackson 5. These three figures from ooo my design represent the major life stages of one of the worlds most well-known pop stars. Michael Jackson truly was the King of Pop. Caring for the planet isn’t all fun and games — but it could be. With Recycly waste receptacles, which are designed with children in mind, recycling time turns into playtime. The trio of color-coded robots are programmed to detect the type of waste they’ve been given, whether it’s paper (blue), plastic (green), or organic matter (yellow). If the waste has been correctly sorted, the bins light up with their corresponding colors, creating a reward system that directs even recycling novices to select the right option.
